Leo LEE

Leo has over 25 years’ experience in the fields of accounting, regulation and asset management, and served as independent non-executive director of several Hong Kong listed companies and was a senior civil servant with the Hong Kong Government. Besides, Leo acted several senior positions in Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) Hong Kong. He is ACCA Global President of 2017/18.

Helen has a keen focus on key global relationship management for ACCA, and is particularly interested in the development of the accountancy profession in emerging economies. She has considerable experience and knowledge of the 180 markets in which ACCA currently operates and is also a member of the Prince of Wales’ Accounting for Sustainability Supervisory Board. She was awarded an OBE in the June 2011 Queen’s Birthday Honours list for services to accountancy.

Prof. ZHANG Weiguo

International Accounting Standards Board
Prof. Zhang is the first Board Member from China and the second from Asia of the International Accounting Standards Board (IASB). He served as the Chief Accountant and International Director of China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC) and IASB for decade. He is currently the PricewaterhouseCoopers Professor in Accounting in Shanghai University of Finance and Economics (SUFE), and Visiting Professor in Accounting in Tsinghua University. ACCA Achievement Award Winner.

Nick Pollard joined CFA Institute in 2016 as managing director for Asia Pacific. Based in the Hong Kong office, he also oversees operations in Beijing, China and Mumbai, India. Nick is responsible for working with all CFA Institute stakeholders, increasing the number of candidates entering and moving through the organization’s credentialing programs, and working with institutional partners (employers, universities and regulators) throughout the region.

Held a number of public service positions including member of the Legislative Council; Chairman of Legal Aid Services Council; Board Member of the West Kowloon Cultural District Authority; non-official member of the Strategic Development Commission and Council Member of the Chinese University of Hong Kong.

Mustafa Hyder Sayed currently heads the leading Pakistani think-tank focusing on bilateral relations between Pakistan and China. The Pakistan-China Institute works on areas ranging from diplomacy to One Belt-One Road (OBOR), people-to-people contact and culture. As Executive Director, he proactively engages in forging new partnerships with Chinese counterparts to foster investment in energy and infrastructure in Pakistan, and mobilize public and private sector stakeholders for bilateral and multilateral mechanisms of cooperation.
