As part of a goal to define the role and value of CFOs in enterprises in China and identify the challenges they face, ACCA recently held a series of discussions in 2012 with well-recognised and accomplished financial professionals, CEOs and company directors. The aim of the exercise was to get an appreciation of the China-specific story, and go beyond the views of CFOs themselves and get the perspective of other stakeholders, the very people that rely on CFOs to drive business value. The results and conclusions are incorporated in this report.
